Our Functional Fitness system at Carlos Machado Jiu Jitsu - The Colony is comprised of three key components: nutrition, strength, and conditioning. Guided by an International Sports Science Association certified Master Trainer, you will learn how to meal prep and develop better eating habits. To improve strength, we utilize various weight-training styles such as powerlifting, bodybuilding, and strongman. For conditioning, we combine a mix of HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training), bodyweight movement, kickboxing, boxing, and battle ropes.
