Evan Thompson, Martial Arts Instructor

Evan Thompson

Professor Evan Thompson began his Martial Arts training 36 years ago at the early age of 3. Since then, he has amassed a tremendous amount of knowledge in multiple styles of Martial Arts such as Japanese Kempo Karate, American Kickboxing, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, and of course, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Professor Evan also has a pretty extensive competitive career as well, having won the 2005 North American Title and 2009 World Tournament Title in the International Kickboxing Federation, and has also stepped inside the MMA cage on 18 different occasions. Since retiring from competition, his focus is now on the younger generations of Martial Artists. He’s the Head Instructor of the Children’s Program at CMJJ: The Colony, and he loves teaching his students Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, valuable Self-Defense skills, and helping them become the best that they can be.
