Evan Thompson started his Martial Arts training 33 years ago at the age of three. Through his Martial Arts career he has achieved Black Belts in styles such as Japanese Kempo Karate, Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and American Kickboxing.
He is currently a Black Belt under Carlos Machado. Through his Martial Arts career he has also competed in many tournaments with his first tournament at the early age of three.
Evan currently holds a 2005 IKF North American Kickboxing Title and a 2009 IKF World Classic Kickboxing Title. Evan made his competition career move from kickboxing to MMA in 2009. He competed for 7 years and retired in 2016 as a professional MMA fighter.
It’s Evan Thompson’s goal to help the sport of MMA evolve by bringing his skills that he acquired by the teaching of his Father, Ray Thompson, and his Brother-in-Law, Carlos Machado, but to also show that MMA can have respectful and charismatic fighters as well.
